NewsDizzee Rascal's new album gets US digital releaseDizzee Rascal will release his forthcoming album, 'Maths and English', digitally in the US in June. The rapper, who recently collaborated with Arctic Monkeys on their track 'Temptation Greets You Like Your Naughty Friend' and sees the band returning the favour on his new album, has decided not to release the album in a physical form Stateside. This decision may be attributed to the slow US sales of his last album, 'Showtime', and his reported reluctance to promote his new album this side of the Atlantic. Lily Allen also make a guest appearance on 'Maths and English', as previously reported. The album is due out in the UK on June 4 and in a digital format on June 5 in the US. Sharon Osbourne sued Sharon Osbourne is facing a $26,000 lawsuit over a king-size bed. Sharon is being sued for breach of contract, fraud and deceit by California's Beyond Pillows Etc design store who claim she never paid for the custom-made bed delivered to her Hidden Hills mansion earlier this month. The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court last Thursday (18.10.07), says Sharon signed an agreement on October 3 to buy the bed, along with customised curtains for her bathroom and kitchen. The suit also claims: "Sharon Osbourne didn't have sufficient funds to cover the payment but accepted delivery and installation and never had any intention of paying." Beyond Pillows Etc interior decorator Cheryl Law alleges Sharon's credit card only covered part of the cost and she hasn't settled the remainder. A representative for Sharon says she gave Law her credit card details when she ordered the items, but Law said the payment had been rejected because it was a UK credit card. The 55-year-old reality TV judge allegedly offered to pay with another credit card, but the following day, Law claimed it had also been rejected. Sharon's representative added that when she checked her bank statements, both transactions had gone through - meaning she had been charged twice for the items. When Sharon noticed the error, she claims she contacted Beyond Pillows Etc who sent her a cheque. |
